Is this guide for you?

Most families start right where you are: worried, a little unsure what's normal, and not quite ready to pick up the phone.

That's okay. This guide gives you the answers first, on your own time, so you feel ready for whatever comes next.

  • Mom asked the same question twice in ten minutes
  • Dad has fallen, or almost fallen, more than once
  • There's been a recent ER visit or hospital stay
  • The pill organizer doesn't add up anymore
  • You live far away and worry between visits
  • You're stretched thin and not sure where to start

Family Guide FAQ

Is the family guide really free?

Yes. The guide is free, and there's no obligation. Enter your first name and email, and it opens right away.

Who is this guide for?

It's written for adult children and family members who are noticing changes in an aging parent and want to understand their options before making any decisions.

How do I know if my parent needs more help at home?

Common signs include falls or near-falls, medication mix-ups, missed appointments, recent ER visits, changes in memory or mood, and trouble with everyday tasks like bathing, cooking or keeping up with the house. No single sign means something is wrong, but several together are worth a closer look. The guide includes a full printable checklist.

Does Medicare cover in-home medical care?

Medicare Part B covers medically necessary visits from doctors and other providers, including visits in the home. Original Medicare usually pays 80% of the approved cost, and a supplemental plan typically covers the other 20%. Medicare Advantage plans each have their own rules.

What insurance does Seniority Healthcare accept?

We accept Medicare and most PPO and Medicare Advantage plans, including Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Highmark, Horizon and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Not sure about your plan? We'll check your coverage before anything else. We don't accept Medicaid at this time, but if your parent has both Medicare and Medicaid, we can help as long as Medicare is their primary insurance.

How soon can care start?

Care usually begins within one to two weeks of your first call, and sometimes sooner.

Where does Seniority Healthcare provide care?

We provide physician-led care at home for families in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware.

You don't have to figure this out alone.
